Pedioplanis gaerdesi
(MERTENS, 1954)
Distribution is poorly documented: Opuwo, Khorixas, Western Outjo, Omaruru and Erongo districts (stony substrates). Previously regarded as a subspecies of P. undata, given full species status by Mayer & Berger-Dell`mour (1987 & 1988). This species occurs in the Skeleton Coast Park, the West Coast Recreation Area, and possibly the western Etosha National Park. (Source: GRIFFIN, M. (2002) - ANNOTATED CHECKLIST AND PROVISIONAL CONSERVATION STATUS OF NAMIBIAN REPTILES).
